Our commitment to values is what makes us strong
What makes Uniting Financial Services different is that our investors don't have to trade their values for good returns or performance. We've provided good returns in an ideal way for all our investors and remain committed to this goal.
Uniting Financial Services is the Treasury and Investment Services arm of the Uniting Church in Australia, Synod of New South Wales and the ACT and is run by a team of investment professionals who believe that strong returns and strongly held beliefs are mutually compatible.
This unique approach has helped us grow our funds under management from just over $400 million ten years ago to more than $1 billion today. This great success has not been without its hard work, and is testament to the people who run the organisation and, equally important, those who support it.
Some call what we do socially responsible investing. We call it 'Ideal Investing'. Effective financial management benefits all the community. For us, adhering to our investment principles and ethical principles is inseparable: serving one needs never to compromise the interests of the other.
We continue to thank all those who support Uniting Financial Services and its important role in assisting the Synod to deliver mission and ministry activities in NSW and the ACT.
We would particularly like to thank our outgoing Chairperson, Peter Andrews, and outgoing CEO, Tony DiMauro, for their expertise, and longstanding committed service to Uniting Financial Services and the work of the Uniting Church. We wish them well in their future endeavours.
