Giving Direct
Giving Direct allows Uniting Church members to make regular contributions by arranging a direct debit to transfer funds electronically to support their local congregation. It helps your congregation plan for the future because when they receive regular contributions it provides a better idea of what income to expect. Having contributions made direct to the congregation's investment overcomes the occasions when people are unable to attend worship so they can still make personal contributions regularly.
The benefits to your organisation
- Contribution is anonymous to your Church's congregation. A regular statement is provided showing details and amounts, but not the name of the contributor;
- No transaction or maintenance fees charged by Uniting Financial Services;
- Contributors can change the amount they give or cancel the authority at any time ;
- Helps your congregation in forecasting income;
- Allows members to practice good stewardship, even when they are away from church.
