How Do I Open An Investment with Uniting Financial Services?

How do I send my new Investment application forms to Uniting Financial Services?
Forms can be either
mailed, or delivered.
What is the difference between an At Call Investment and a Higher Values Online Investment?
Both investments offer At-call access to your funds with good interest rates on all balances. However our Higher Values Online Investment pays a higher rate of interest, requires a minimum balance of $5,000 to open and withdrawals can only be made by Uniting Online, Uniting by Phone, Periodic Payment or Direct Debit. Terms and Conditions for both these products are contained in the
Product Information Brochure.
Is my investment safe?
All investments with Uniting Financial Services are underwritten by the assets and resources of The Uniting Church in Australia Property Trust (NSW).
How do I put additional money into my investment with Uniting Financial Services?
What is the difference between "Current Balance" and "Available Balance"?
'Current Balance' is the balance of your investment as at the nominated date including any uncleared funds. 'Available Balance' is the balance of your investment available for immediate withdrawal as at the nominated date. All cheques lodged have a clearance of 4 business days. The 4 day clearance also applies to any drawing from external accounts credited to your Uniting Financial Services investment.
How do I withdraw from my At Call accounts?
Mail a withdrawal slip requesting either transfer of funds to a nominated Uniting Financial Services Investment or external account or issue of a cheque (the cheque will be posted to the mailing address last notified to Uniting Financial Services by the investment holder or in the case of joint investment or business holders to the address that statements are sent to).
Uniting Online. Daily default limits apply.
Uniting by Phone to a Uniting Financial Services Investment or Loan or to a pre-nominated external account. Default daily limits apply.
Have withdrawal slip delivered to our office at Level 3, 222 Pitt Street Sydney, NSW 2000. All withdrawals advices, for payment by cheque, received prior to the 10.00am cut off time will be posted the same day. From 15th December 2008 the arrangements to personally collect cheques will no longer be available.
Set up a Periodic Payment for regular payments.
A Direct Debit facility can also be established to pay certain bills such as insurance premiums, credit card accounts as well as bills from utilities, councils, phone providers, etc. Contact the biller to arrange this facility. When completing their form use the Uniting Financial Services BSB (Bank State Branch) 704-951 and your electronic investment number. This number appears on your statements. These payments can only be set up on At Call Investments.

Can I make a withdrawal from my Fixed Term Investment?
A Fixed Term Investment is an agreement between us for you to invest a fixed sum of money for a specific term at a set interest rate.If you find you need to withdraw all of part of your Fixed Term Investment prior to its scheduled maturity date an Early Repayment Adjustment may be applied. Refer to Product Information Brochure.
I have forgotten my password for Uniting Online and/or Uniting by Phone. How do I get a new one?
Download Application for Uniting Online/Uniting by Phone- Form 11 and complete the applicable sections for reissue of access code. The completed form can be mailed or delivered to our office. A new password will be issued and mailed to the postal address held by Uniting Financial Services.
Will I be charged any fees?
Uniting Financial Services does not charge transaction or maintenance fees on any of our products.However some service fees apply as we need to recover costs charged by external suppliers and our processing expenses. Details of these service fees are contained in our Fee Schedule.
